The Weekend

We made a quick visit to Virginia this weekend, and while we did enjoy a beautiful baby shower and a child-free trip to Cuz's, the boys were thrilled with their first experience with actual Legos (we only have the Duplo size).

The dining room table was transformed into the Lego creation station where all kinds of futuristic vehicles were given life, going from basic transportation

to something a little space-aged.

Doug roamed, giving assistance to the boys and criticizing my house that was "remodeled" several times before ultimately being demolished. "Why don't you finish it?" he asked. "I can't get it to work," I responded. Andrew chimed in, "You should have made a plan." What was I thinking?

He finally settled into designing a new look for his business cards.

  1. You know once you cross into the world of Legos you can never go back...
