Each time a house goes up for sale in the neighborhood, we pray for a good family with kids to buy it.

We've loved living in a neighborhood that's overwhelmingly older couples or retirees, but they just don't make for good playmates. When Mrs. Parker moved away, we were anxious to meet the new owners. They were nice, but less than two years later, the house was for sale again. We watched prospective buyer's come to check it out; rumors of a sale surfaced; and pretty soon a moving van showed up.
The Greeting Committee (most of the kids) sat on the curb and watched intently as the young couple unloaded all their wordly possessions. I introduced myself along with my brood, and then we found out: they have two girls, ages 2 & 4. How perfect!
The older girls have immediately taken a liking to each other, and Josie is always on the watch to see if "the girls" are outside. I hope that they become dear friends.
Two other immediate neighbors are selling soon so please join us in praying specifically for nice boys.
