Giving Thanks: Everything Apple

'Tis the time for harvesting the crops and for naturally eating what is in season.


An errand led us past the apple orchard today where we picked up some seconds and a jug of cider.  For afternoon tea, we made apple fritters.  Poor Andrew refused to eat any after gorging himself the last time I made them.  It is definitely not a regular practice (none of our guts can handle that), but it makes for a fun annual treat.
