Maybe it was remembering his response to the 20 week ultrasound with Jonathan or maybe it was simply interest in the newest baby, but Doug gladly joined us for a sneak peek at the little one.
Well, I should clarify: he was in the building. After an extraordinarily long wait and multiple rounds of spinning & falling, he removed the two youngest to roam the halls. Thankfully, Andrew and Stephen were there for moral support and a science lesson to boot.
Afterwards I met with the midwife and she mentioned that the previous patient she saw had slightly elevated blood pressure. "Oh, really. Were her kids with her?" (not that I've had any personal experience with that!). "No," she replied. "It was your kids."
What a good feeling to know that we are providing natural and effective birth control for Hamilton County.
