Just call me a spendthrift 'cause I've certainly been on a roll.
Tuesday: Gap A-line corduroy skirt, $1.50 - Northside Neighborhood House
Saturday: Eddie Bauer 3/4 length henley top, $1.25; Crazy Horse black handbag, $2.50 - Junior League
Sunday: Definitely the most fun (and profitable) - a Swap Meet hosted by my friend Suzy. Each participant brought up to 20 items (anything) and got a corresponding number of clothespins. We got to shop from the assorted goods. I not only got rid of random items from around the house, I came back with some real finds including an Ann Taylor summer dress and 2 funky beaded necklaces.
I also got some supplies for re-purposing projects including an 80's style culotte that (hopefully) can be cut down into a couple of skirts.
Boutiques can be beautiful.
Great finds - it's been a while since I've gotten anything for a real steal and I was just thinking about that today because Alena had on a dress that I got at the thrift store for Mya a few years ago. So fun. We have been/will be praying for your dad tomorrow.
