At the Hospital

What a sucker! Jonathan got to nurse yesterday and took to it as if he'd never had a bottle in his life.

I really just think he's trying to maintain his sturdy figure and so far his plan is working. He's already back to his birth weight and moving upward.

The doctors are going to run some more labs tomorrow and reassess the situation which hopefully means we will have a discharge date soon.

I can't wait to bring this guy home.

  1. I've been praying that Jonathan would be a good nurser despite all the bottles so that's great news. He looks so much like you, Julie and I think Matthew's new trick with his fingers in his ears is just practice for when Jonathan decides to exercise his lungs. It took Alena a while to get used to the crying but now she likes to cause the crying. :)

  2. He is just too cute!!!! What a beautiful baby! I bet those nurses are just eating him up in the nursery! In the weeks just before before D. came home I would call at odd hours in the night to check on him and they would be playing with him in the middle of the night. I thought that child would never get his days and nights straight, but I loved knowing he was getting lots of attention.I can't imagine them being able to keep their hands off your adorable boy! I know you will be glad to have him home and I am so glad he is nursing well. Hang in there!!
