All over the web there are Halloween pumpkins carved with amazing pictures and intricate details.
What can I say? We're traditionalists although this year the boys modified their design and opted for square eyes. Woo-woo!
Doug was a little unsure of their plan, but Matthew convinced him that was what they wanted.
The surgeon got his tools and went to work.
The seeds were saved to fulfill the tradition of toasting and to try our hand at growing our own fruit.
Doug skillfully traced and cut and scraped the insides while his 5 assistants eagerly shouted advice and loudly cheered him on.
I stayed out of their way and tending to the seed-toasting.
Another successful pumpkin carving for the books.
