December Photo Project: Day 1

It's that time of the year again - the December Photo Project, highlighting all that's fun and beautiful at Christmas.  I've never gone with a theme before, but this year I'm aiming for Sounds of the Seasons.  We'll see how it goes!

Lo, how a Rose e'er blooming from tender stem hath sprung!
Of Jesse's lineage coming, as men of old have sung.
