I get a little tired of the 24 hour Christmas stations (the playlist is about 20 songs repeated 20 times during the day). I can only take so much of Gloria Estefan and Alabama. Thankfully we have some supplements.

As for the kids, they throughly enjoy their vegetables. We have both A Very Veggie Christmas and The Incredible Singing Christmas Tree. For the sake of my sanity, these have to be limited to one playing per day, but they are actually pretty entertaining.
In the early years of our marriage I picked up Big Band Christmas at Big Lots for $2. It was worth it for track 7 alone: "Happy New Year Baby" by Johnny Otis. Since you may not have time to play the actual song, I've pulled out the important lyrics: "If you love me sweet and tender, I'll buy you a big fat bed. If I catch you cheatin', I'll fill you full of lead." How's that for celebrating the season?!
