Part of me was a little disappointed that I wasn't able to get a lot of good shots of the children on Christmas, but truth is, I would rather get to be in the midst of the ruckus.

And a ruckus there was! The pile of loot around the tree on Christmas Eve bordered on embarrassing!
It was a lovely day with spirits high (generally speaking - Jonathan rode a roller coaster all day). The rain didn't dampen our celebrations, and in fact, it was nice that it was warm enough to open the doors and be "out" but not wet.
Dinner was The.Most.Delicious.Turkey.Ever, if I do say so myself (it was so good that it deserves a repeat performance and a post unto itself). I made a coconut cream pie but was too exhausted to serve it
(my poor parents never know what they'll be served, or in this case not served, when they visit!).
But best of all, it was a wonderful time of celebrating our Savior's birth!
