If you have spent any time around my husband, chances are that you have been subjected to The Rope Joke.
I admit that it is funny.
The first time or two.
The kids still love it, though, and request it now and then.
So without fail, Doug launches into his familiar tale.
And they all howl with laughter.
At least it's a change from, "Knock, knock....."
