There are parades. And there are parades.
Friday was the annual Armed Forces Day parade and downtown was full of military fervor.
Politicians, emergency personnel and high school students turned out to say
Stephen was interviewed for a local television station but he didn't make the cut.
Matthew kept Josie warm with his military "dress", a uniform he found at an estate sale for $1.
The Red Bank Jubilee parade had a large showing of fire trucks with sirens blaring,
but no "shriney vehicles" this year.

Jonathan summed it up, "This is just a parade. The parade tomorrow will be a Candy Parade."

Jonathan had added, "But mostly at parades they only throw out tootsie rolls because they are cheap!" He was pleasantly surprised with suckers and chocolate and MoonPies for all.
