Valentine's Day 2015

And the excitement just continues around here!

It was an action packed week with a birthday, a banquet, s'mores and now Valentine's Day!

We failed to get goodies to our neighbors at Christmas so we took care of that Friday.
(It just may become a new tradition.)

The kids had a lot of fun designing cards for Doug,

 and Matthew even included a small chocolate as a surprise!

I spent Friday night designing their cards

and they were up early and eager to see the surprises.

My main squeeze brought flowers (not red because he knows me too well for that).

The Gift of the Year, though, belongs to Stephen who had been busily working on his "surprise."

A year and a half ago he found this charm on the ground at a festival and picked it up;
at a lame Christmas parade the kids all got ball-chain style key rings;
he combined the two to create a special gift.

It's a joy to love and be loved!
