A Big Day

For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.  And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.  Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house.

 (Acts 2:39; Gen 17:7; Acts 16:31)

It was a big day full of many reminders of God's gracious provision and faithfulness.

To our church family, in blessing our plant with three wonderful years of teaching and growth and hope of many more good things just around the corner.

To our little girl and her parents, in reminding us of the "humble reliance upon divine grace" that is needed more and more as the years go by and the prayerful hope that her own salvation will be realized in the coming years.

And to our two big boys, in joyfully celebrating their own public professions of faith.

Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.  Then it was said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them."
Psalm 126:2
