Off to Camp

After much planning and packing, they are off.

 

 

Doug and Andrew will spend the next few days with other dads and boys in the woods.

 



 

There will be opportunities to work on new skills like climbing and outdoor preparedness.

 

 

There will plenty of skits and songs that make camp camp.

 

 

And I've already warned the Scout Master about Doug and his rope joke.

 

 

It's not the "Camp Chief Logan out under the trees..." of my dad's youth, but I'm pretty sure not much has changed from Scout camping in 50 years.  It's boys being boys and doing the things they love.
