Time is a funny thing.
Fourteen years ago we got hitched.
The years have flown by quickly, but it also seems like ages since that hot Saturday afternoon.
I have no sage advice, no secret anecdotes to make marriage work.
But I do have a lasting and sincere testimonial: Picardie Tumblers.
These were a pricey wedding gift from my parents, but they have stood the test of time and are well worth the money. I think ours came from Willams-Sonoma, but now they are available directly from the manufacturer as well as other distributors like Amazon. We have both the 16.9 oz. and 8.5 oz. sizes and none has broken (a minor miracle, it seems, when talking to others about glassware). One does have a small chip on the top, but it only helps identify it.
Lemonade & tea, ice cream & yogurt, jello and smoothies - these glasses have seen it all. Here's to fourteen more years!
