"We're going to build a LEGO diorama."
It was the boys' announcement as they headed to the basement this afternoon.
I was equally surprised by their vocabulary and the final result.
They cleared off a shelf on a bookcase and very carefully placed their ever-growing collection of LEGO paraphrenalia. I wasn't even aware of many of the minifigures (I'm especially fond of the camera-yielding tourist and one-armed construction worker).
I was asked to take pictures for posterity's sake but only after making sure a certain toddler was not allowed near their creation.
that's the only recap that I get? the public demands more!
