After requesting a sandwich shortly after we finished lunch, I remarked, "You must be growing 'cause you're eating so much." Stephen replied, "I just want to grow up to be a man quickly."

To buy some peace while Doug and I attempted to rearrange their bedroom yesterday, I pulled out a bargain copy of The Tale of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny (I highly recommend these low-key videos; they are basically the originial illustrations in video form). The boys were entranced. Stephen and Andrew spent a great deal of time today chasing each other around the house, alternating the roles of Peter and Mr. McGregor. At one point Stephen was caught and Andrew was worried that he would be cooked for dinner; unperplexed, Stephen announced, "Don't fret."
