Katy and the (little) Snow

Quite by accident we were reading Katy and the Big Snow this week. Our projects included making a compass

and designing our own city of Geopolis.

Then the snow began to fall...only we got half an inch or so, not multiple feet.

Matthew longingly looked on as Andrew and Stephen went into the frigid cold to enjoy the few flakes.

Later on I decided to have pity on Matthew and take him out. He went out with the big boys while I got dressed and wrapped up a very unhappy Jonathan.

I didn't even make it to the front door before Matthew was wailing to come in. We settled for hot chocolate and coffee instead.
