A Week Ago

Due to technical difficulties, I missed posting these pictures from last week. We made the most of the sun and ventured outdoors to see the last of the snow and ice at our duck pond.

The edges were still frozen and the boys watched as some other kids tested the limits; one daredevil went too far and fell in but thankfully it wasn't one of mine.

Perhaps I could write a new children's book, The Year of the Floating Christmas Tree?

These sunny days give me hope that it won't be long until spring (about 7 weeks and 3 days, but who's counting?).
