The midwife issued some amazing information this morning: "You are still pregnant."
Wow.
Shocking it is not considering the length of my past pregnancies, but there has always been hope that this one would be different, that the extra time put in with previous children would be redeemed this go-round. Alas, it is not the case.
I have been assured that pregnancies don't last forever, and I am thankful that I am not a elephant that must gestate for two years.
But I will issue this warning: Call at your own risk.
