Easter in Mississippi

We left on Friday for a long weekend in Mississippi. Grandma is a lot more brave than I and whipped up a batch of dye for Easter eggs. Stephen especially loved to use the special dipper.

There were many Easter egg hunts by both adults and children (by the way, these pictures were taken on Saturday; they did not wear tee-shirts and jeans on Easter)

though Matthew couldn't really be bothered when there were trucks to be pushed.

The boys had their first exposure to Peeps. Andrew (not surprisingly) loved his and probably ate 5; Matthew was not impressed so his was melted as a burnt offering.

The boys enjoyed meeting their two first cousins once removed, Adam (almost 3)
and Jack (almost 1; unfortunately my batteries died before I got a picture of this roly-poly cutie). Did I ever mention there's an abundance of boys in this family?
This hug will have to last Matthew for a while as we returned with two less kids.
