Giving Thanks: Quiet

The kids are in bed, lights out and still.

The Voice of Reason (who becomes a little less reasonable on Saturdays in the fall) is calm.

A cup of tea in hand, I slip to the comfort of my room to indulge in a book and enjoy the stillness.
