LEGO City: Chapel of Love

I can't explain why there has been a rash of discussions regarding weddings at our house this month, but apparently it is quite the fascinating subject.

The Bride (wearing a plastic gown appliqued with a wolf) and the Groom (in his police uniform)
Jonathan periodically worries about who he is going to marry.

Note the lovely stained glass window behind the couple
We've had lengthy discussions about how he can't marry me or Josie,

and Stephen wisely pointed out that he can only marry a girl or they couldn't have a baby.

The red pieces are rose petals (though I'm not sure who is doing the tossing)
 He's narrowed it down to one little girl and I've warned her mother;

and I have been charged with driving them after they tie the knot.

Redeeming Love

"I wish you weren't in my family so that I could marry you."

That sweet remark saved this little boy when he later took pruning shears to my crape myrtle.

The J's

A couple of years ago I had these two with me on a walk in our neighborhood,
and we met someone who had recently moved in.

I introduced myself and the kids, and in the course of conversation
it came out that there were more children at home.
"Do their names start with 'J', too?"  No, we have a lot of kids but are not the Duggars.

The Great American Pasttime

Baseball "practice" often occurs after dinner.

No need for an official team - just dad tossing balls and correcting form.

The outfielders are finally catching on to their job.

Tootsie is not going to be left out: she dances, she prances, and she occasionally returns a ball.

There's plenty of downtime in the outfield for goofing off.

And, of course, catching a bug or two.
